It has been mentioned by Ahl al-Bayt (as), that Imams from Ahl al-Bayt (as) are muhaddathun [inspired], let's see how many inspired Imams there will be from Ahl al-Bayt (as).

[...] from Zurara from Imam al-Baqir (as) from his forefathers (as), that the Messenger of Allah (saww) has said: “From among my progeny there will be Twelve muhaddaths [inspired men].” A man called Abdullah bin Zayd, who was the foster-brother of Ali bin al-Hussain as-Sajjad (as), said to him [Imam al-Baqir (as)]: “Glory be to Allah! Inspired!” as if he denied that. Imam Abu Ja'far al-Baqir (as) said to him: “By Allah, the son of your mother [he meant Ali bin al-Hussain (as)] was indeed inspired.”

[Note]: Ahmad al-Hassan and his Anṣār claim falsely, that there will be 24 inspired Imams.
